I think that the baby should get a bath every other day. Do you have time for that? You may not have time for that frequency but chances are you as the parent will be tired one evening and notice that the baby’s hair is not as bouncy as it should be. Keep an eye on the children. This is our lesson here. That, of course, goes without saying, but keep an eye for detail. If the parent did not notice that his daughter’s hair was limp (and not bouncy) he would never have volunteered to give the bath and then bedtime would have been a challenge.
Good parenting, as I have said before, does not come from a book. It comes from the heart, yes, but also from the brain. The excellent dad knows his daughter and saw that there was no spring in her crawl, no exuberance in her mealtimes. Then the hair was limp. At that moment he knew that she needed a bath. Also, he had just purchased a bunch of bath toys online (goodies and doodads) and wanted to see if they were worth the money spent. They were and his daughter was sleeping soundly, hopefully through the night.
